A huge thank you to all who contributed to the first stage of our Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) review. We had more than 300 visits to the site with just over 70 comments made. Whilst the Vision section is now closed for comments, we’d still love to hear from you. You can continue to comment and upload your photos in the Your Neighbourhood section of the consultation website. Also, look out for the Parking Survey which will be added soon.

65% of respondents said they loved the Vision, or felt it was OK whilst 19% said they didn’t like it or felt that it needed improvement.

What you’ve said so far about Your Neighbourhood

People have been identifying a specific place/area within the NDP boundary, uploading their photos, and telling us what they like or what could be improved from the photo. Most comments relate to a general untidiness of places or buildings and provide suggestions of how they think it could be improved. Other comments talk about difficult junctions/crossings for cyclists and pedestrians.

So far, we’ve not had many photos or comments about what people like about Stroud! Do let us know so we can do our best to ensure it stays like that.

Who is responding?

The majority of comments have been received from people who live, work or shop in Stroud. That’s great news as local people are having their say about their local town.

Sadly, no comments have been received so far from younger people (13-24 years). Your views count so please take photos, get involved and influence the future of Stroud!
