• Improving health and well-being, protecting amenity and quality of life

• Protecting and providing green spaces and providing opportunities for sport and recreation

• Preserving/Promoting Stroud's bohemian and 'green' personality.

• Stroud shouldn’t be made inaccessible to the community by removing cars to the town centre. This will impact on the small businesses, who are already struggling and to people who cannot walk or cycle. How will people with disabilities access the town? Or people with mental health problems, or women who feel unsafe. Inclusion is so important , however I feel that people who are aging or are not as able will not be able to access the town.

• Delivering economic growth, providing more jobs and training opportunities

• Promoting good design and creating safe and inclusive places

• Remember it is rural area, cars are never going away- too many steep hills etc. there will be no need to ban cars as they get changed to more electric ones. It could be easy to discriminate those unable to use pedal power or walking
