As part of the Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) review, Stroud Town Council is keen to understand issues around parking provision in the town centre.
We do not own or operate any car parks or parking spaces in the town, but are interested to understand public views on parking provided in the town centre. Your responses will give us information to update policies in the NDP and work with the County and District Councils and other car park owners to make improvements.
Questions refer only to parking within the NDP boundary.
Where do you normally park in Stroud to access the town centre?
Paying on exit from a car park offers greater flexibility for users, but is expensive to install. The Town Council cannot compel operators to install, but we would like to know if there is a demand for this in the town.
See information at the end of the survey.
Car clubs allow users to access a vehicle without owning one and can offer an alternative to private car ownership or leasing.
